Coaches

To be a WYBA Coach for Travel or Rec Basketball visit our Coaching Requirements for what WYBA will require of you to be a coach for these programs.

A Note for HighSchool Students who want to Coach in WYBA:

• If you are a High School student of 18 years old prior to or the start of Travel or Rec Basketball seasons must complete the requirements listed in Coaching Requirements.
• If you are a High School student who will turn 18 during the season, you will be required to complete the Full Coaching Requirements.
• Those coaches that will not be 18 years old by the time the new Travel and Rec seasons start are strongly encouraged to complete the requirements.

Coaches must complete the RUTGERS Safety course.  This is a one-time certification and is applicable if you were certified from another sport. If you are a new coach, please e-mail a copy of your Rutgers certification card to WYBASafety@gmail.com. Please note online course certification will be accepted this time.

Strongly encouraged for High School Students to assist in coaching.
